Becky has been dancing since the age of nine, training at The Constance Grant Dance Centre, Sheffield. Whilst training she appeared in numerous shows at the Lyceum Theatre, Sheffield, both professionally and with local amateur dramatics companies. She was also nominated for an IDTA scholarship for Tap dancing. She went on to train professionally at The Midlands Academy of Dance & Drama, Nottingham, where she graduated with Distinction, gaining a National Diploma in Musical Theatre. Whilst training Becky studied all different styles of dance including; Ballet, Tap, Technical & Commercial Jazz, Street, HipHop, Pas de Deux, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Lindy Hop, Latin & Ballroom as well as singing and drama. Whilst training she also gaining teaching qualifications with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) in Freestyle, Ballet & Tap. Becky is also a qualified Exercise to Music instructor allowing her to teach such classes as aerobics, hi-lo and conditioning. After graduating from college Becky went on to dance professionally gaining contracts in the UK and abroad including GMTV, The Hard Dance Awards, Celtic Beat, The Grand Norfolk Wedding Show, Hair & Fashion shows as well as modelling and corporate events.

She has since returned to Sheffield and is an established motivating and exciting freelance dance teacher, choreographer and fitness instructor. Previous teaching experience includes; After-school dance clubs for various primary schools, Several Holiday Camps, Wedding Day Dance UK and Head of Dance at an American summer camp. She has also choreographed for Headlines Elite Hair and Fashion Show, Lets Dance 2008 and 2010 and has been Dance Captain for many of her college productions

Becky has a real passion and flare for teaching and has a vast experience and knowledge of all types of dance, successfully teaching all levels and age groups. Her lessons are structured and planned to get the best out of every pupil and are educational and technically sound. Lessons are fun and exciting whilst still maintaining the correct level of discipline in order to ensure progression is made.
